The mist of an early San Diego morning greets us as we climb aboard the bus to begin our northern journey. A journey of mixed emotions as we leave Mexico and will soon greet our family and friends.

It has been another incredible journey. Proud of this Team 2013 and all that they have attributed to making this trip profoundly meaningful to the families in Mexico and to one another.

Will throw up a few pictures from our trip up the Baja yesterday and this morning’s farewell to Tanner (we decided to leave him in San Diego) and loading up to begin the journey. Well, actually, Tanner’s parents are here and he’s going home with them:)

Well here we are - the last night in Mexico - can't believe the time has come and gone. Climbing on the bus at 7 am tomorrow morning. Today we had a later breakfast and then went to the cemetery and gathered to hear Santi's story of the death of his daughter and how that has impacted his and Julia's life. A very emotional start to the day and yet a hope filled challenge to us all.

We then "bumped" our way to the volcano and the Land of Narnia and climbed and kicked back on the beach. Wonderful afternoon was had by all. Enjoy the Pictures:)

Palm Sunday greets us with a beautiful sunrise - enjoyed by those up early enough. The late risers on this last full day in Mexico will be welcomed by the ever present fog bank rolling in off the ocean. Bringing with it a chilling edge. We are all hoping that it will burn off as we head out to the ocean and the volcano climb today.
This will be a much deserved day of relaxation and fun for this Team 2013 after a hectic four days of building an a highly emotional day of home dedications yesterday.

DAY 6
What can one say that will really do justice to this extremely personal and very emotional day. To stand with a family that in four short days has become part of your extended family and hand them keys to their brand new home that you have labored together  to construct - privileged, humbled, loved - these words come to mind - although each will have their own words of description.
Yesterday was a day in which we collectively wept together - not tears of sadness - but tears of immense joy for now we have completed our building projects and our families have taken ownership and each will complete the joyous privilege of making a house into a home.
Let me just say that there were enough tears to go around with a few buckets to spare.
Enjoy the pictures and be sure to check the Live Different site for more incredible pictures of this amazing journey.
